Nothing
much happening in ‘Madden World’ … the screen actors are still on strike,
although the screen writers seem to be near a deal! Richard
has been spotted a couple of times, in LA, since his appearance in the crowd
at a Taylor Swift concert. No photos …
which I wouldn’t have posted anyway, if they were pap photos … and it’s not
for me to divulge where, when he is going about his daily business! My month
of September consisted of going to see Stanley Tucci
‘in conversation’ at the Barbican
on 06 September … and being laid low by my first ever bout of covid as a result. Stanley is
very amusing, with a dry sense of humour, and well worth going to see at
these types of events, which happen every now and then – he appeared at the
Royal Albert Hall back in April too. Unfortunately
he couldn’t speak much about his acting career or anything in the pipeline,
due to the screen actors strike and being a member of the Screen Actors’
Guild. But, none the less, the evening
was immensely enjoyable. As he
lives in London, he prefers to work in the UK because of his family … so,
with Citadel 2’s production being moved to California, it won’t be as
convenient for him … as well as depressing for Richard’s UK fans … or at least
it is for me. I’m still not over April’s
bitter disappointment of not seeing Richard in real life when he visited for
the global premiere of Citadel. Prime UK
just doesn’t care about the ordinary run-of-the-mill fan, whose highlight of
the year would have been seeing Richard again after such a long time, with no
other opportunities since Eternals in October 2021 … and none for the
foreseeable future either … |
