Lauren Ridloff, who plays the first deaf superhero Makkari in Eternals, was recently interviewed in conjunction with Bafta Breakthrough 2020. She mentions that the movie has done a number of reshoots! Here is a link to Lauren’s interview, on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2u3BnnJy70s Richard did give a clue that reshoots were imminent, in mid-August, when posting on IG … eluding to the fact he’d returned to the gym, following his Scottish staycation, to undergo rigorous workouts! There was also news from Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, who is Richard’s co-star in the upcoming Amazon spy adventure, Citadel. She posted on IG, informing us that she will be acting as the British Fashion Council’s Ambassador for Positive Change while she’s living in London over the next year. Research suggests that Priyanka has a number of movie/TV projects lined up, in addition to Citadel, including a romantic drama in pre-production featuring Celine Dion and Outlander’s Sam Heughan … also, as IMDb lists a UK Financial Controller for Citadel, I continue to assume that part of Citadel will be filmed here in the UK. J Interestingly, as also mentioned on IMDb, one of the locations for Citadel is Vietnam!

Richard didn’t let us down, as he posted a couple of Halloween-themed selfies on Saturday! The black and white photos are Richard’s Instagram originals … and, credit to @cutestmadden for converting these into colour photos too!
I’ve seen this described as a ‘Mad Max-inspired look with steam punk goggles’ … so, casting my mind back to March, I recall a rumour suggesting Richard was ‘in the mix’ to play Dementus in the planned Mad Max: Fury Road prequel. There was a later report hinting that Chris Hemsworth was also interested in this role … but, bearing in mind the poster for the original movie … maybe this was a cryptic clue from our beautiful man!!! Anyway, regardless, we await news of Richard’s next project, post-Citadel!
