Richard has posted … on his IG stories … a video
of his head being covered in plaster, in order to make a full size model
thereof, for Citadel. OMG, he’s so beautiful … and certainly not the ‘potato’ he identifies with; a leftover
from his teenage years when he was overweight. I’m not a fan of the Daily Mail (or ‘Daily Fail’) but they have posted the
video online and it’s the easiest version for everyone to access … So it has
been the hottest March day in my area since 1968 … and not only because of
the weather!!! |

The Citadel ‘roadshow’
has been spotted in Basingstoke in Hampshire, with one day’s filming planned
… probably tomorrow or Monday: Lights, lorries and cameras have been spotted at Basing

Basingstoke Gazette According to the T-shirt he was wearing when
filming in Oxford, Richard’s fireman character appears to be named K. Conroy
… so is that the identity of his ‘civilian’
character as opposed to his ‘agent’
character? Mason Kane was mentioned as
a character in one of the earlier news reports on social media … although it
wasn’t clear if it was Richard … but maybe K. stands for Kane? So perhaps it’s Mason Kane/Kane Conroy …
or, of course, it may just be pure fantasy on my part!!! There’s a recent video tour on Facebook of the Rewley Road Fire
Station in Oxford, which will feature in Citadel! Technically, lockdown moves into its next stage
from next Monday 29 March … I cannot venture too far, but it may be a
possibility that London is an option at Easter, for a day trip! |

As much as I greatly disapprove of the tactics of
the Mail Online, who offer money to anyone who will sell pictures and stories
… often of a private nature … unfortunately they have got the first scoop of
Richard on set, in Oxford last Monday …

Photos
from the set of Citadel emerged overnight … they are pap photos, or at least photos
from an unofficial source … but it is work not play! Photos were posted by a Priyanka
Chopra fan page, before being plastered all over IG, etc,
by Richard’s fan base. These pictures are from the ‘Italian Alps’ set, in Bourne Wood(s) near Farnham in Surrey, last
week. Richard has been suspended on wires again … and
looks like a cross between David Budd and Ikaris! Although his grey streak has disappeared
once more, sadly. Not sure about Priyanka’s outfit, which is reminiscent of ‘Princess Leia’! His
Citadel stunt double/stand-in appears to be the guy who carried out this role
for Eternals too! Bystanders
said that Richard and Priyanka appeared to be
having a lot of fun on set, which is so good to see; Richard having been very
quiet during the pandemic, apart from recording podcast drama From Now. I don’t
like heights … but would willingly hang around with Richard!!! |

I had my first Covid-19 vaccination yesterday, it was the Astra Zeneca
one. My arm is a little sore this
morning but, other than that, I have experienced no other side-effects. My second jab is due at the end of May. Hopefully the 30 to 40 year old
age group will get their vaccination in the not too distant future, as I’d
like to have the reassurance that Richard is protected too. |

Today, Richard has been filming in Oxford … as reported
by the Oxford Mail: Amazon drama Citadel starring Richard Madden filming in
Oxford | Oxford Mail I find it very unsettling being stuck at home,
working, whilst things are happening in ‘Madden
World’ … if only he would turn up in my home city, to film … mind you,
I’d be forced to go AWOL for the day if he did!!! |

There’s news that British-based American actor,
Stanley Tucci, has joined the cast of Citadel: Citadel: Stanley Tucci Joins the
Russo Brothers' Amazon Series (collider.com) I like Stanley! Following on from yesterday’s report, it
transpires that Bourne Wood(s) is a very popular movie location, dating all
the way back to Gladiator. It’s also
been used for Harry Potter, Thor and Wonder Woman … Filming at Bourne Wood | Forestry England After a
very quiet 12 months, things are certainly beginning to happen now … three
blogs in three days … who would have thought? |

With preparations complete, Priyanka
Chopra Jonas has confirmed that today was her first day of filming on Citadel:
Richard has been spotted in London … but only by
the paparazzi sadly … so I won’t be posting the photos! I’ve now completed reading Priyanka’s
autobiography, Unfinished. The UK’s Covid-19 vaccine programme has finally
reached my age group, and I have an appointment for my first jab at the end
of next week! I will
therefore have a certain amount of protection by the time the first major
lifting of UK lockdown occurs in mid-April; fingers crossed it happens, as I
really need to see my friends again and take a few day trips out and about;
I’ve not left my home city since mid-September! My life since then has been …
work … shop … walk … repeat! I’ve not even got back my desire for crafting,
although I have crocheted two Aran-weight snoods and two knitted
ear-warmer/headbands since Christmas. |
