TV Choice Awards Please vote for Richard and Bodyguard Following an initial ‘knock out’ stage, Richard has been
selected as one of the final four nominees for Best Actor at the TV Choice
Awards. Bodyguard has also been
nominated in the Best New Drama category.
The initial stage was
dependent on public votes, and so too are the award winners ... so please

If you’ve been following Richard over the past
few months, you will have seen rumours on social media and within the ‘gutter’ press regarding his personal
life. Brandon Flynn has been speaking to Variety about his own sexuality
and, as this is an official article, I feel there is approval for me to post
this link on my website: Both have remained private
in the face of extreme pressure from social media, gutter press intrusion and
paparazzi ‘stalking’ and I hope
this, and the recent New York Times article featuring Richard, have now
addressed their relationship sufficiently for everyone to move on and leave
them in peace to concentrate on their acting careers. Richard is a
beautiful, sensitive soul and I adore him with all my heart ... and his
millions of admirers around the world feel the same. Sadly the speculation
has taken a toll on Richard in recent months, as can be seen pictorially from
his mood when photographed: |

surprised I’m not taller, more handsome and muscly!”: Richard is putting
himself down again ... bless him. He
is very handsome and perfectly formed; no-one could be disappointed. This
weekend Taron travelled home to Aberystwyth to
visit his family, and he paid a visit to the local cinema to see Rocketman too; he also chatted to the audience. Perhaps Taron
misses Richard! I’ve seen it three
times now, my last viewing being at one of the smaller screens at the Odeon
in Leicester Square ... last Saturday. |

With the Emmy nominations due to be announced on 16 July, it is
reported that Richard continues to gain ground upon his nearest rivals, Bob Odenkirk and Jason Bateman, in the race to win Best Drama
Actor. He has certainly put a
lot of effort into his campaign during the past few months and, hopefully,
will be rewarded accordingly. This is delightful, a
picture from the recent Actors on Actors conversation with Amy Adams. Richard at his very handsome, boyish best:
Having put my ‘special project’ on the backburner since last weekend, because of
the impossibility of its schedule, today I found time to load up the
photographs I took at the UK Premiere of Rocketman last
month; the link is at the top. One of my nieces is going to Glastonbury this
week ... I shall be insanely jealous if Richard attends and she sees him ... |

Trees for Life One of Richard’s admirers has set up a grove of
trees in the Scottish Highlands, dedicated to him. The grove will consist of native trees and
will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future. This is

Congratulations to Richard, who won the Golden
Nymph award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series Drama at
the Monte Carlo TV Festival yesterday, for his portrayal of David Budd in
Bodyguard. Richard was unable to attend, so one of the
Bodyguard producers, Priscilla Parish, accepted it on his behalf. Here is
today’s cute photograph: |

Well, I didn’t think
I’d be writing another blog today ... but Richard has been visiting Milan for
Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020 and attended the Giorgio Armani show today
... along with Samuel L Jackson amongst others! I guess I should have
known he’d be there ... if work commitments didn’t prevent it, especially as
his stylist Gareth Scourfield was looking through
racks of men’s clothing very recently to pick out suitable items for his
clients!!! |

It’s weird
... I bumped into a work colleague on the way home then, following a chat, I barely
remember walking the remainder of my route ... although I do recall
daydreaming about Mr Madden and his trip to Milan!!! |

LiveWorx19 in Boston, Massachusetts: LiveWorx Digital Transformation Event | Richard-Madden Indications are that Richard was in London last
Friday ... as a selfie was posted. His visit to Boston would suggest that he’s
not required this week, for the 1917 filming sequence taking place in the
Govan dockyard in Glasgow. |

he reveals that he’s working on a way to deter paparazzi interest in his
daily life ... https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/31/movies/richard-madden-rocketman.html I enjoyed my second visit to see Rocketman more than the first ... and I have to report
that my heart was pounding in anticipation of seeing him appear on screen ...
and that didn’t happen on the first viewing!!! The Rocketman
promotional tour has been completed; with Taron Egerton attending events in LA this weekend ...
meanwhile, everything has gone very quiet on the Richard Madden front ... so
is he now in the UK ahead of filming his role in the Sam Mendes film 1917? |
