Richard posted to his stories on Thursday, 12
January, to announce that the qcodemedia podcast
series, From Now (2020/2021), had won a Gold award for Best Sound Design at
the recent Signal Awards. It was an ‘open’
vote, with members of the general public able to vote … if they could figure
out the instructions on how to do so … which I couldn’t!!!

There’s finally news of Richard but, sadly, it’s
very disappointing news for him … it is being reported that he has missed out
on being cast for the leading role in Gladiator 2. Gladiator 2: Paul Mescal Cast as Lead (collider.com) Paul Mescal is ten years younger than Richard;
I’ve not seen any of his work, although I know he starred in the highly
popular Normal People. Ridley Scott was an executive producer on
Klondike … And, just
another thought … Paul won’t be the only person in the movie … there must be
supporting roles!!! |

Happy New
Year! Another lovely surprise today, with Richard’s
friend Cherrie (Cheryl Calegari) posting photos
from her adventures during 2022. These included two photos of Richard; one from
London and one from a hotel on the Amalfi Coast in
Italy. where they spent a few days in late July when attending the Giffoni Film Festival.
