Richard posted another Instagram
story late on Christmas Eve ... giving a clue to his holiday plans ... Richard adores
Hector, the Great Dane, who is owned by his friend Jeremy ... he was spending

I had intended to go to Kempton Park yesterday,
for the racing ... but, having seen the weather outside, I decided against it
about 20 minutes before I was due to leave home ... however, I did watch the
racing on TV and am so pleased for jockey Sam Twiston-Davies
who rode the winner of the big race!
Clan Des Obeaux won the race last year too
but, on that occasion, the horse was ridden by Harry Cobden; Harry rode the
favourite, Cyrname, yesterday and finished 2nd. I watched Marvel
Avengers: Endgame yesterday ... I thought I ought, with the Eternals due for
release next November. I surprised
myself, knowing many of the super-hero characters, despite not having
followed the Avengers closely during their adventures! |

Richard
posted an Instagram story on Sunday (above), with Christmas greetings in
Spanish! He was, however, in
London! Hopefully he’ll be home in
Scotland now, to spend the festive season with his family. There’s been very little news, since the World
Premiere of 1917 ... whilst Richard continues to film Marvel Eternals at
Pinewood Studios. The two original series of Marvel Comics, by Jack
Kirby featuring the Eternals, are to be reprinted and released for sale
starting in July 2020. I’ve not had time to proof and upload my 1917
diary yet, having been late with my Christmas present making and buying this
year ... but hope to find time in the next week or so, now that everything is
sorted! |

Hopefully, one day,
Ruth will get a selfie with Richard and I will have
a ‘tuxedo’ selfie
with him at last ... I have five tuxedo failures so far! Twice I’ve been too
far away (2019 Film Baftas and GQ), once I’ve been
missed despite being at the front of the crowd pen (Rocketman),
and twice I’ve asked but been turned down due to lack of time (also Rocketman, plus 1917)! This is fun ... Merry Christmas … Richard in a very happy mood … I think these may be identical ... one on Instagram,

CCXP19 convention in Brazil ... attendees were treated to some raw footage
from the Eternals movie ... which also appeared to feature a romance between Ikaris (Richard) and Sersi (Gemma Chan)! The
Eternals is due to film in Brazil at some point before the production
concludes. I’ve drafted my 1917 Premiere diary and it’s now
the cooling off period, before I proof-read and
upload it! |
