Just a
brief update from within ‘Madden World’ … Having
completed filming Killer Heat in Crete and Athens in early July … the production
title is so apt, considering the temperatures around the Mediterranean in recent
weeks … Richard returned to the UK, briefly. He was
spotted in London by a pap (who evidently refers to himself as a ‘street photographer’) on 20 July … so
I won’t be posting those photos, as it’s not pleasant to see Richard being
followed down a street whilst out shopping.
Besides, the pap must have been riding a moped or motorbike to keep up
with him; Richard walks very fast (he has long legs) and the distance covered
wasn’t inconsiderable. I know, because I walked along part of the same street
back in April, when on my quest for copies of the TV & Satellite issue
featuring Richard and PCJ on the front! Presumably
Richard got fed up with the awful weather we have been experiencing in the UK
in recent weeks (I know I am), not to mention the unpleasantness of the paps, because he’s already upped sticks and headed to LA.
We know
this because he was spotted in the audience at the final night of Taylor
Swift The Eras Tour which took place yesterday evening (09 August) at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, LA County. He drew
interest, being in the VIP section … another who attended was Anya
Taylor-Joy. Anyway,

footage may emerge in the coming days … Taylor
Swift had performed at the Time 100 Gala event back in April 2019, which
Richard attended! With the
TV and film industry-related strikes continuing, production of Citadel 2 is
on hold, but Richard will be able to enjoy the pleasant weather and the opportunity
to exercise in the nearby state parks without the intrusion of paps. And of course,
settle into his surroundings again, ahead of filming commencing. PCJ didn’t
complete her current UK-based project either, before it closed down because
of the strikes. With all
the problems encountered during the production of Citadel 1, and it not being
considered a success in the US, I personally don’t believe there will be a
Citadel 3 but, hopefully, all the loose ends will be tied up next time. And me, I’m sad,
because it’s now the longest ever period between real-life sightings of Richard
… and with no known opportunities on the horizon either … |
